1960s Australia Tasmania Deloraine Township Quamby Bluff Scenic View Postcard
This is a single tear-out postcard from a Plastichrome souvenir album folder — a stapled booklet of perforated postcards designed to be detached and mailed individually. The image is an elevated scenic view over the township of Deloraine on Tasmania’s North-West coastal plain. In the foreground, dense green trees frame the view down toward the town, where a river winds through and is crossed by a low bridge, with a line of red railway wagons standing on the track nearby. Clustered among the trees are the town’s buildings — houses and cottages with red and grey roofs, a church spire rising above the greenery, and shops along the streets. Beyond the town the land opens out into pale golden farmland and paddocks, backed by the flat-topped mass of Quamby Bluff and further blue ranges under a bright sky with light cloud. No printed text appears on the image.
